At WholesomeCo, we have witnessed many patients use medical cannabis in their fight against cancer. By increasing the accessibility and knowledge of cannabis, we hope to help patients manage this intrusive disease and find comfort under extremely difficult circumstances. For the individuals who have been directly impacted by breast cancer or for those who know someone directly impacted, WholesomeCo would like to highlight Image Reborn: an organization devoted to improving the lives of breast cancer survivors.
The mission of Image Reborn Foundation is to provide no-cost healing retreats to women diagnosed with breast cancer and to assist them in living rich and fulfilling lives. The organization offers women deep and meaningful connections along with an abundance of wellness tools to help ease the body and mind.
Image Reborn recognizes the importance of emotional support throughout one’s cancer journey, which is why their programs are free to all participants. Renewal retreats are often held in the serene mountains of Park City, Utah and include chef-prepared meals, massage, yoga and other mindful practices. Visit the Image Reborn page here to learn more about their upcoming events.
Although retreats are full for the remainder of this year, new events will be announced at the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event in Salt Lake City. Image Reborn works closely with the Making Strides movement, a 3 to 5 mile organized walk that has become the nation's largest and most impactful breast cancer campaign. Image Reborn has made it a tradition to open registration and announce their upcoming calendar of events in conjunction with the Making Strides of Utah event.
This year, Making Strides will celebrate their 30th anniversary with more than 150 communities nationwide. Visit the Making Strides of Utah page here to learn more about this year's walk held at Liberty Park on October 22nd. Registration is free and Image Reborn Program Coordinator, Ally Morrison, invites anyone to join by visiting their team page here.
