New to the WholesomeCo Effects line, the Thrive Gummy. Pharmacist formulated for PTSD patients.

Published

We’re excited to reintroduce our Honey Gummy as Thrive. Last year, our honey gummy, formulated for PTSD patients, was such a big hit with patients, we brought it back to stay. We partnered with one of our own staff members and patients, Dylan Roe, as well as our expert pharmacy team to design a gummy that is specially formulated for PTSD patients. The formulation includes the cannabinoids THC, CBG and CBD in a 1:1:10 ratio (20:20:200mg per gummy respectively). These Honey Pear Ginger flavored gummies are ideal for daytime use, and for patients who are seeking the medicinal properties with less of the euphoric effects.

Inspired by Dylan’s own beekeeping business and passion, this product is also formulated with honey sourced from Local Utah Beekeepers. Learn more about Dylan’s patient journey with PTSD and medical cannabis. has helped Dylan in his journey to wellness, and so has his passion for beekeeping. Eight Eighteen Apiary, rooted in Davis County, Utah, is an American beekeeping company, owned and operated by Dylan who is a retired USMC Infantry Squad Leader, and Combat Wounded Veteran. They believe in supporting local farmers, communities, and the environment for future generations by empowering one of nature’s elite pollinators, the honeybee.

Dylan also inspired us to develop this product uniquely for PTSD patients, not only in formulation, but also by giving back to the community. Five percent of all product sales for the Thrive gummy in June will be donated to Safe Harbor Crisis Center, a domestic violence and sexual assault service provider in Utah. Safe Harbor helps around 3,000 survivors every year, including 300 children that are affected by violence. They help survivors through advocacy services, free in house therapy sessions, emergency shelter (45 day stay), and housing assistance programs. To prevent violence, they offer education, awareness, and resources to their community. Safe Harbor’s services have been adapting to meet the complex needs of domestic violence and sexual assault survivors since 1997. After a couple years partnering with this incredible organization, we at WholesomeCo have come to recognize how common it is that victims of sexual assault and domestic abuse experience PTSD symptoms as part of their survivor experience: 80% of women who experience intimate partner violence report significant short or long-term effects, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).*

We’re honored to include Safe Harbor as the partner for the giving component of this product and to support the work they do. To get involved yourself or to learn more about Safe Harbor, visit safeharborhope.org.
